eTown Time Capsule 2014 - David Bromberg - Wanda Jackson
Wednesday Nov 02, 2022
Wednesday Nov 02, 2022
eTown favorite and American musical legend, David Bromberg joins Rockabilly legend, Wanda Jackson for an unforgettable eTown show from our 2014 season. Bromberg’s versatile variety of bluegrass, blues and country is a perfect foil for Wanda’s unmistakable take on her classic songs she made famous in the 50s, back when she was on tour with Elvis, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Johnny Cash. Bromberg, who got his start playing with his own set of legends like Jerry Jeff Walker and Bob Dylan, joins Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Wanda Jackson at the end of the show, but their conversations with host Nick Forster make great radio. Great music, insightful conversation and an E-Chievement Award winner who is feeding her Idaho community in a sustainable way. Be sure to join us!

Wednesday Oct 26, 2022
This week, we bring you some of the best moments from our 2014 season. The variety of talent that we welcomed to the eTown stage that year was astounding. We’ve got, among others, the danceable Cumbia of Los Lobos, the delicate vocals of Jesca Hoop and Laura Marling, the energy of Lake Street Dive and Rodney Crowell and the thoughtful poetry of hip hop artist, Atmosphere. As usual, it’s all tied together with Nick Forster’s thoughtful conversation and the pacing and excellent production of the eTown team. This is a good one – don’t miss it!

They bring their special Southern blues sound, this time as a duo (Nick & Helen and the eTones lend musical support as well for them).
