Nick also has a sit-down with Aaron Miripol, President and CEO of the Urban Land Conservancy to discuss the benefits of neighborhood preservation.

This week at eTown, we pay special tribute to Bob Weir, who spent a lifetime shaping the sound of American music. As a founding member of the Grateful Dead and a restless creative force beyond it, his songs have carried generations through questions of freedom, community, loss, joy and the long road in between. This show features music and conversation from Bob's visit to eTown in 2017, as well as a clip of a tune he and bassist Rob Wasserman played in eTown all the way back in 1993.

It's 2026, and this week we feature our first new show for the New Year! Singer-songwriter and forager Sean Rowe joins us from Troy, New York. And from Vancouver, British Columbia, comes another singer-songwriter - Dan Mangan. And Nick has an interactive interview with Matt Butler, conductor of the Everyone Orchestra.

This week on eTown, we're revisiting a special roadshow taped in 2022 at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. We have alternative rock band Wilco (led by Jeff Tweedy) and outlaw country singer-songwriter Margo Price. Along with some incredible music from the two, the episode also includes Nick Forster's chats with Jeff and Margo backstage at the iconic venue.

Canadian Dallas Green is City and Colour. His buddy, Matt Kelly joins him onstage at eTown Hall to perform some amazingly soulful tunes. New Yorkers Kristin Slipp and Cole Kamen-Green are mmeadows. This husband and wife duo display their unique brand of electronica featuring Kristin's dynamic and soaring vocals. Jon Goldstein is a Senior Director at the Environmental Defense Fund. He sits down with Nick to discuss turning the wrench on leaking natural gas.
