Nick, Helen, and the crew head back to The Momentary in Bentonville, Arkansas to tape a very special show featuring musical guests Allison Russell and Parker Millsap. Allison Russell's career has exploded in the last few years - she received three Grammy nominations and has won several International awards including the Juno Award from her home country of Canada. Allison is joined by members of her "circle of Goddesses" as they present some powerful and emotive tunes. Parker Millsap shares the bill and plays some conscientious and insightful Americana-flavored songs. Nick also has a sit-down with Tom Rohr of Food Loops to discuss the joys and smells of food composting.

This week we revisit a dynamic show featuring two musical acts that are countercultural icons in their own ways and in separate countries. American born sisters Leah Song and Chloe Smith and their band Rising Appalachia share their unique brand of "Hillbilly World Music" and chat about how they promote the slow movement in their touring practices. Now exiled in Sweden, Egyptian Ramy Essam travels the eTown to share the songs that led to his becoming the voice of the 2011 Egyptian revolution that overthrew an oppressive leader. Also with us is Joseph Teipel who shares his story about Re:Vision an organization dedicated to building community food independence in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver.

eTown heads on the road to Bentonville, Arkansas to visit the premier Art and Events venue, The Momentary. Joining Nick, Helen, and The eTones on stage are musical guests, Calexico and S.G. Goodman.
Veterans of the Tucson, Arizona scene, Calexico blends Indie-rock, Americana, and Tejano flavors into a unique brand of musical stew. A relative newcomer from Kentucky, S.G. Goodman performs heartfelt Country-tinged Rock and Folk songs that will give you the feels.
Nick also sits down with Kenny Williams from Pedal It Forward, a Northwest Arkansas non-profit that focuses on getting bicycles to people who need them.

Nick also chats with Frank Anello, a Denver man who founded Project Worthmore in order to provide invaluable support to refugees.
